Kolkata's art & craft buffs get their one-stop destination!

Kolkata,December, 2021: After years of waiting, art and craft aficionados of Kolkata now have a one-stop destination to buy all the art and craft supplies they need. Itsy Bitsy, India's leading art and craft store, has opened a store in Kolkata, Bidhannagar today. 

The popular brand already has 39 stores across India as well as a user-friendly online store. The Kolkata store is the first Itsy Bitsy in eastern India.

The store opening ceremony in Kolkata was attended by renowned artists and crafters from West Bengal and other parts of the country. The celebration will be on for two exciting days. The co-founders Rashmi and Harish Closepet were present at the store to meet and greet the customers. The ribbon was cut by Ms Daksha Popat a paper-crafting artist and the lamp was lit by Ms Sumouli Dutta, a comic artist.

The store was brimming with enthusiastic customers eagerly looking forward to Itsy Bitsy's arrival in Kolkata. Mr. Harish Closepet, the co-founder of Itsy Bitsy, said, "Kolkata is known for its creativity and artistic potential. Customers also enjoyed hands-on craft activities like the 'Make and Take home' scrapbook layout with every bill. Events like paper crafting demos, painting competition for kids, decoupage workshop, resin demo, added to the excitement.
